Terms & Conditions
Article 1. Definitions
“Exhibitor” refers to any company, cooperative, organization, or individual that has applied to participate in the exhibition by submitting the application form and contract, and by paying the required deposit.
“Exhibition” refers to Smart Farm Korea.
“Organizer” refers to JM Company Co., Ltd., located at
Room 508, Building B, Centum SkyBiz, 97 Centum Jungang-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, Republic of Korea.
Article 2. Application for Participation
The Exhibitor shall complete and submit the designated application form to the Organizer and, at the same time, pay a deposit equal to 50% of the total booth fee.
If any changes occur in the information provided in the submitted application or related documents, the Exhibitor must immediately notify the Organizer.
The Exhibitor shall bear full responsibility for any disadvantages resulting from failure to provide such notification.
Article 3. Allocation of Exhibition Space
The Organizer shall allocate booth locations in consideration of the order of application, nationality, nature of exhibits, requested exhibition space, and the Exhibitor’s location.
Except in cases of force majeure, the Exhibitor shall comply with the Organizer’s allocation decisions.
Island booths require a minimum application of six (6) booths.
Independent booths require a minimum application of two (2) booths.
Article 4. Exhibition Hall Management
The Exhibitor shall display only the exhibits listed in the application form and assign on-site personnel to properly manage its booth.
If the Exhibitor displays items different from those declared, displays items inconsistent with the nature of the exhibition, or engages in direct sales without prior approval, the Organizer may order immediate suspension, removal, or withdrawal of such exhibits.
In such cases, the participation fee shall not be refunded, and the Exhibitor shall not claim any compensation.
The Exhibitor may not transfer, resell, sublease, or exchange all or part of the allocated exhibition space without prior written consent from the Organizer.
The Exhibitor shall not damage or alter the exhibition hall facilities, including floors, ceilings, pillars, or walls, by painting, adhesives, or other means.
The Organizer may restrict or exclude certain exhibits or exhibition activities as necessary to maintain order, ensure safety, or prevent social or public disturbances.
Article 5. Payment Terms
Upon submission of the application, the Exhibitor shall pay 50% of the total booth fee as a deposit, and the remaining balance shall be paid no later than one month prior to the exhibition.
Applications submitted after the deadline require full payment (100%) at the time of application.
If the Exhibitor fails to pay any required fees, the Organizer may suspend participation until full payment is made or, at its discretion, retain the Exhibitor’s exhibits.
Article 6. Cancellation or Change of Participation
If the Exhibitor cancels all or part of the contracted exhibition space, written notice must be submitted to the Organizer immediately.
Cancellation fees:
Cancellation more than one month before the exhibition: 50% of the participation fee
Cancellation within one month of the exhibition: 100% of the participation fee
No interest shall be paid on any refunded amounts.
Article 7. Parking for Exhibitors
Parking passes are not provided to exhibiting companies.
Article 8. Cancellation or Modification of the Exhibition
If the Organizer cancels the exhibition, all participation fees already paid shall be fully refunded.
However, no refunds shall be made in cases where the exhibition is canceled, postponed, shortened, or modified due to force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 9. Installation and Display of Exhibits
The Exhibitor shall complete booth installation, delivery of exhibits, and display within the designated period and within the allocated exhibition space.
Article 10. Removal of Exhibits and Booth Structures
The Exhibitor shall remove all exhibits and booth structures within the designated period.
Any costs incurred by the Organizer due to delayed removal shall be borne by the Exhibitor.
Article 11. Security, Risk, and Insurance
The Organizer shall implement appropriate security measures for Exhibitors and visitors.
The Exhibitor shall be responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of exhibits and booth structures within the allocated space during the exhibition, installation, and dismantling periods.
If damage is caused to the Organizer or third parties due to fire, theft, damage, or other incidents resulting from the Exhibitor’s intent or negligence, the Exhibitor shall bear full liability and is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage.
Article 12. Fire Safety Regulations
All booth structures and materials used within the exhibition hall must comply with fire safety regulations and be properly fire-resistant.
The Organizer may require corrective actions related to fire prevention when necessary.
Article 13. Supplementary Regulations
The Organizer may establish supplementary regulations not specified in these participation terms when necessary.
The Exhibitor shall comply with the regulations of the Organizer and Changwon Convention Center (CECO).
Article 14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising between the Organizer and the Exhibitor in connection with these participation regulations, including rights and obligations, shall be finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) and the laws of the Republic of Korea.
The arbitral award rendered by the KCAB shall be final and binding upon both parties.
